Dear Young Democrat,

I am writing to notify you of the following important events:

• The Montgomery County Young Democrats will next meet on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Trolley Stop in the Oregon District. What will we be doing? Well, besides enjoying the company of like-minded folks, we'll be voting on this year's Young Democrat of the Year. (Nominations for YDotY will be accepted at the meeting, but you are invited to submit a nomination ahead of time by sending me an email.)
• On Saturday, February 26, a group of us will travel from Dayton to Lorain (yes, Lorain) and back to attend the winter meeting of the Ohio Young Democrats. If you'd like to join in on this journey, please let me know.
• Closer to home that same weekend, Montgomery County Young Democrats will take the fight for women's health to the heart of John Boehner's district at a Rally to Defend Women's Health. The Rally will be held on Sunday, February 27 at 12:00 pm at the Hamilton, Ohio location of Planned Parenthood. For details, please contact Meghan Cole at meglcole@gmail.com.
