Dear Young Democrat,

I hope you’ll rub the college basketball out of your eyes and let the pickleback haze lift for a moment so that you can read this message:  The next meeting of the Montgomery County Young Democrats will take place Thursday, March 25, 2010. 

Due to an unfortunate scheduling conflict, the meeting will take place in two parts.  First, MCYD officer elections* will be held at 5:30 pm at Democratic Headquarters, 131 S. Wilkinson St. in downtown Dayton.  Then, following the Montgomery County Democratic Party’s meeting at HQ, the Young Dems will reconvene for food, drinks, and maybe fun at about 8:30 pm at the Trolley Stop, 530 E. Fifth St. in the Oregon District.  If you are unable to attend the officer elections, feel free to meet us later for a drink – or vice versa, I guess.

Until then, root for Ohio State, mourn the loss of Alex Chilton along with the Replacements, and do good things.

* To vote or stand for election during MCYD officer elections, one must be a dues-paying member of the Montgomery County Young Democrats.  Annual MCYD dues are only $10 and can be paid at any time, including right before the elections.
