Dear Young Democrat,

In between marking 'hope,' 'change,' and 'old tired policies' off your Democratic National Convention bingo card, I hope you’ll consider the following items:

• The next meeting of the Montgomery County Young Democrats will take place this Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 6:00 pm at Democratic Headquarters, 131 S. Wilkinson St. in Downtown Dayton.
• After the Young Dems meeting, you are invited to join Dems of all ages to watch Senator Barack Obama accept the Democratic nomination at a Convention Watch Party.  The event will take place this Thursday at Thurgood Marshall High School at 4447 Hoover Ave. and will begin with a block party at 8:00 pm, followed by The Speech at 9:00 pm.  RSVP here.
• Volunteers are needed to get the truth out about John McCain when he comes to town this Friday.  If you are available to participate in an organized media response to McCain’s visit at either 11:00 am this Thursday or 10:00 am this Friday, please let me know as soon as possible.
