Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a great holiday, and that you are all rested and ready for a big election year. Listening to this field of Republican candidates, while at times entertaining, is a great reminder that we all have to work hard this year to help re-elect President Obama. Why not start your involvement this year at a State of the Union Watch Party?! I will be hosting a SOTU watch party at my apartment in downtown Dayton on Tuesday, January 24th. Come on over around 8pm. I'll have snacks/beverages. If you are interested in coming over, please send me an email, and I will respond with directions to my apartment.

The following evening, our  friends at the University of Dayton will be kicking-off the year with a mix and mingle event to recruit students to join UD Dems. If you would like to show support for their organization, (especially you UD alumni out there), join us in room 331 of the Kennedy Union at 6pm. Also, the deadline to vote in this year's primary, to be held March 6th, is February 6th. Stay tuned for a list of endorsed candidates.
