If you aren’t too busy booking a trip to China or organizing a protest against China, I hope you’ll take some time to join the other Young Democrats at these Olympic-caliber events:

• This year’s Junior Jackass Miniature Golf outing will take place on Tuesday, August 19 at 5:30 pm at Hazzards Miniature Golf, 6240 Brandt Pike.  Admission to the Junior includes one round of miniature golf, a hot dog, and a beverage for $15 per person or $25 per family.

• Find out what Jerry Springer – yes, Jerry Springer – has to say at a fundraiser for Democratic candidate for Congress Jane Mitakides this Thursday.  Specially-priced Young Democrat Tickets are available.

• Finally, the next meeting of the Montgomery County Young Democrats will take place on Thursday, August 28 at 6:00 pm at Democratic Headquarters, 131 S. Wilkinson St. in downtown Dayton.
